Let's take a look at it in action
Say that you’re going to have a meeting with two people named Jim and Todd.
Opening up Microsoft Outlook (or Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or Hotmail), you write a message that has three distinct parts.
General content that everybody will see.
“Split” content that only Mark will receive.
“Split” content that only Todd will see.
To write the “Split” content, all you have to do is hilight some text using your mouse and then click on the icon "Mark Private" or press your Right Mouse Button and click on the option "Mark Private"
When you’re done, your message will look like this:
Then you hit Send just like in your regular email program.
Right away, Mark receives a message that looks like this:

As you can see, to Mark and Todd, it just looks like a regular Email message with personalized messages, and there’s nothing there that shows that either recipient is “missing” anything at all. Sections which were confidential for them are marked for them, so Mark and Todd cannot accidentally forward the confidential parts.
Infact, when Mark tries to do a Reply-To-All, he is warned of the private parts.
